I have created a lovely little Home Office in my house, dedicated to working from home on my day job; teaching. In these strange and quite frankly turbulent times, I have neglected my writing in favour of school work.

Today, I am determined to write again, and have just added another chapter to what i think will become my next published novel (I started writing it in 2012, so it’s about time I finally finished it!).

I considered sitting in my newly established office to write, but I want to separate work and pleasure and my novel writing falls into the latter category, so I’ve decided to continue using my laptop on the sofa to write. It’s more relaxed and I feel more creative.

Whenever I’m not ‘teaching’ today, I’m going to sit in my lounge and focus on writing for pleasure. I might even take the laptop outside in the garden and write in the sunshine! #13ChaptersWritten #WhatHappensNext
