I've finally done it!

I first started writing in 2006, when I was in hospital for a period of time, had run out of books to read and decided to write my own to keep me amused instead.

Being an avid reader, and quite a creative person (I'm also a musician!), I'd always liked the idea of writing a book, and indeed learned to touch type as a teenager, writing a short story in my summer holiday on an old fashioned typewriter. It took me a long time to actually get round to completing a book, and even longer to get round to being brave enough to publish it, but I finally published The Greatest Gift in November 2019, having completed it in 2010.

Since writing The Greatest Gift, I've started several more novels, but time then ran away with me and I was never been invested enough in the characters to complete the subsequent books.... until Maddie Lane was born! Watch this space for news of my second novel, coming soon!
